Best Bars in Faliraki

Faliraki is a central point for Greek tourism and the visitors that flock to Rhodes every year, whether it be for exploring the gorgeous beaches the seaside resort has to offer or for making the most of the attractions, including the Water Park and the famous Anthony Quinn Bay. Popularly referred to as the ‘best bar in Faliraki,’ Bondi is a modern, colourful and beautifully lit space. It’s particularly popular with people who like dancing and good music, as this is always the case at Bondi!

 

Professional bartenders make cocktails while being incredibly friendly and hospitable so if you want to dance the night away, try new drinks and make some friends – Bondi is the spot for you.

 

In peak seasons opening times can be earlier.

 

 

Bliss

Bliss can be serving coffees all day and then turn into a vibrant nightlife spot in the evening. Fiercely popular with the locals too, this spot gives you the best of both worlds as you can sit outside and enjoy the being on the beautiful island of Rhodes as well as try fun cocktails.

 

Want to try something new? Bliss is also a Shisha bar, and has a very good reputation for this. The staff, are your usual hospitable Greeks and the music is great – although there isn’t as much space for dancing as with Bondi for example. A slightly more casual space, but a great place to try something different and catch up with friends.

 

 

Kelly’s Irish Bar

While you may not be coming to Rhodes to get the full Irish experience, Kelly’s is excellent for meeting ex-pats and new friends to be! Their TripAdvisor summary says: ‘There are no strangers here, just friends you haven’t met yet,’ and this perfectly encapsulates the atmosphere at Kelly’s.

 

Great staff, beer garden available and live music on different nights throughout the week. What’s not to love?

 

Climax Bar

Climax is renowned in Faliraki for its incredibly friendly hosts Kostas and Steven, as well as its good vibes and music. It’s handily situated on the main strip so quickly becomes a favourite with punters. Great cocktails and music as well as a more ‘nightclub’ vibe similar to Bondi – rather than an outdoor bistro, typical pub or tavern. Enjoy everything from shots to cocktails and dance the night away at Climax.

Cannon is popular because it gives you the full Greek party experience and it is not to be missed. George and Kathy are the exceptional hosts, who run the place with their sons Dimitri and Vasili. They do everything from dancing, plate smashing and octopus tasting! This is a great place to stop for a free night out and enjoyable for the whole family.

Bubbels TripAdvisor: 4.5 Stars Google: 4.3 Stars Opens: varies

This is a great outdoor space in Faliraki, close to the beach so you can simply sip on a cocktail and watch as the night draws in, listening to the waves lapping at the shore  just metres away. Both an excellent view and host, paired with affordable cocktails, is what makes Bubbels incredibly popular and relaxing.

While this is more of a casual spot, this bar does have live music and shows sport on its large open-air screen at peak times so make the most of the proximity to the sandy beaches and spend a night or two here.

 

1947 – The Greek Mixology Bar TripAdvisor: 5 Stars Google: 4.7 Stars Opens: 2.30pm-3.00am

This is a new bar in Faliraki and certainly something you should try to get to before your stay is finished! The hosts are keen to celebrate the art of mixology (mixing drinks), which means the drinks are both premium, innovative, beautiful and great tasting! Every cocktail they sell here has their own take and made from sumptuously premium, well sourced ingredients. 

The setting doesn’t disappoint either, with a warm and friendly atmosphere as well as a cute, traditional Greek patio to sit on.
